Dear Friends

This year as we reverted back from online activities to physical meetings. It has motivated us to plan for an exciting and fruitful year ahead.

On behalf of the NSSI and the Executive Council, I must congratulate the entire organising team of   NSSI 2023, Hyderabad for a truly memorable event . It was even more remarkable as we had physical conference after a long gap of three years and that to in the ‘City of pearls’ Hyderabad.

It is my pleasant duty to thank Dr R.S Mittal, founder president, Dr. M.K Tewari, the immediate Past President, for all his guidance and help this last year. Dr. Altaf Ramzan has taken over as President, and I am sure he will guide NSSI this year with his inputs and ideas. Education is the foremost aim of the NSSI, with this vision we will need to add and increase teaching and educational programs across the country for the residents and young neurosurgeons.

There is so much that we can all do together using the NSSI platform, and I am sure that with the support of each one of you, each year will see new heights.

I would end by requesting that we encourage our colleagues and residents to become members of the NSSI so that they may gain from the planned activities – and we may gain from the generational experience they bring with them.
